Slide Rules

For those of us born in the latter half of the 1950's this is a 'slide rule'. It was eventually replaced by the pocket calculator. Among math students is was cool to walk the halls with one of these in your pocket. (Go figure.) Anyway, they were before my time too. I did acquire a beginner's slide rule and the manual so I tried to figure it out. The very first paragraph began talking about logary

thms and I was lost (I don't think I even spelled the word right). They're still neat contraptions though and some people collect them. They come in different shapes, sizes, material and there are even ones in braille. P.S. It's slways more fun to sell something you really like!
