Busy
I haven't been on here for a while. Life has been too busy. We were at the Jefferson Wi. Flea Market again yesterday. It will be the last show there until October. Maybe by then we'll have won the lottery and won't have to do any more shows (yeah, right). It's just a one-day show so you set-up, sell and take-down all on the same day. That's good but it tires you out. Glad it's over. The creep who shoplifts wasn't there this time. A definite plus. Nothing worth writing about happened. Moderate sales. Next week-end is Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles, Il. We're going to try renting just one booth instead of two to save money. Their rent is high there. If we plan what to put out to sell we can probably make just as much. We'll see how it goes.
The item I have pictured is a 1918 Atwater Kent Gasoline Gauge For Fords. These were lowered into the gas tank to see if you needed gas back in the days of Model T's. Neat. The gas gauge on our (supposed luxury) car has been out of service for three years. We have to keep track ourselves. This stick would have been easier. Hmmm... progress.
