A couple of times a year we set up at a motorcycle show. You wouldn't think it would go with our merchandise but actually we have no competition because almost everyone else has greasy motorcycle parts. We do well on 'man' things like military items but we also sell things for the wives and children. At Walneck's (in Woodstock, Illinois at the county fairgrounds) you set up your booth on Saturday night and the show is on Sunday. The first time we did this show I showed up an hour late on Sunday, came to the entryway and stopped dead. The room was filled with men, all in black and all wearing jackets showing either gang affiliations or Harley Davidson logos. Ominous. Actually though, they were all very polite to deal with. I was surprised. This particular show is made up of three buildings of dealers and several more dealers outside.
