We don't have a show this week-end so the Merchant Prince and I went shopping. We checked out an estate sale in our area. Good grief! This house must have had at least 40 rooms! It looked like an English manor house! There were even two (two!) suits of armour. New, of course. We found a few small items but nothing major. It was worth it just to see the house though. That's always a plus at estate sales. Some of these homes are just spectacular. Then we found some garage sales and bought some other items, again nothing major. We finished up by going to Wolff's Flea Market in Palatine. We bought some more small items there. Altogether I don't think we spent over $40.00. Hopefully. these will all add up to a respectable profit when we sell them. The picture I show is of a camera from the 1950's. There are lots of camera collectors out there!
